Kind Words

The price of a coordinator is worth every penny. We enjoyed our wedding and never looked back with wonder or worry. That is a testament of a great planner!
~ Julie & Dustin, Bride & Groom

Dare to Dream made sure everything went smoothly on my wedding day! Megan made sure everything was taken care of! I had nothing to do but just enjoy my wedding! ~ Katy C., Washington D.C., Bride

I would recommend Megan Potter as a wedding planner as she does great follow up and stays on top of multiple tasks that we give her.  Even though we know she is also servicing other clients she always makes us feel like we are her only client and her most important client. Our wedding also is a little harder because she is dealing with people that live in different cities and she keeps great communication through email or phone calls with all of us. She is always pleasant and you can tell that she really likes her job. We have met her in person and she is everything in person that she conveys over email. I would most definitely recommend her as an event planner. ~ Margo, Milwaukee, Mother of the Bride

I just thought I'd say that Megan has been a tremendous help during our wedding planning process as I have no idea how I would be getting all of these appointments arranged or in fact where to start with the wedding process in general.  She has been very thorough and attentive to all my requests and has provided me with exceptional information regarding helpful tips, timelines, scheduling and people/companies she works with in order to get us the best photography, cakes, venues and "look" for my taste and budget.  She is wonderful! (get her while you can!) ~ Erin, Pleasant Prairie, Bride

When Rick and I got engaged, we knew we would not have the time or the resources to plan the wedding we envisioned.  We called around to various wedding planners, and reached Megan from Dare to Dream Weddings.  I knew from the start of our conversation that this is what we were looking for.  Our biggest issue was time…Rick travels for work, and I teach full time and coach.  After explaining to Megan our needs, she wrote up a proposal based on the services we felt we could use.  She has gone above and beyond our expectations in helping us out!  I often feel bad for her having to wait for us to complete our tasks.   Without Megan, we would not be where we are, connected with the vendors we wanted, or as relaxed in regards to our upcoming wedding day! ~ Kari & Rick, Milwaukee, Bride & Groom

Shortly after being engaged I started feeling very overwhelmed with all the planning that needed to start happening until I met with Megan who reassured me we have plenty of time and she'll help keep me focused and organized. Everything so far about Megan's planning has made the whole experience so much fun and it has taken all the stress out of the planning that I frequently hear brides complain about! I've truly enjoyed the planning experience so far and never once felt overwhelmed or unprepared for anything, Megan has done a great job of listening to what I really want for my wedding and is able to break down everything so it is manageable for me to truly make decisions that I'm thrilled with. Weddings are so much work and why not have someone help you so you can really enjoy what can be the start of a wonderful life together!
~ Taylar & Tyler, Waterford, Bride & Groom

Erin & Jason

I loved working with these families! Both the Amelings and the Pauls were involved in the entire planning process and were so incredibly fun to work with. With children already at home, Erin needed a little help with her planning - especially since she had another one on the way just six months before the wedding. After contacting us in  January, Dare to Dream was more than happy to help this wonderful family plan the wedding they had been dreaming of. Thank you so much to all of these unbelievable vendors who helped make this day so fabulous:  Ceremony & Reception: Coast; Cake: Simma's Bakery; Ceremony Music: Wisconsin Conservatory of Music; Reception Music: and Sound: DJ's on the Mix; Catering: Zilli Hospitality Group; Florist: Village Florist; Videographer: Cream City Photo Video; and a special thanks to
Cream City Photo Video for providing the wonderful photos below.

Adam & Katie

After a year of getting to know Katie, Adam and their family through phone calls and e-mail, this out of state couple's wedding had finally arrived. To add some special touches to their day, stops at Lakefront Brewery and Alterra were mixed in as well as a special visit from Adam and Katie's dog Supertramp!  Thank you to JBe Photography for providing us with these gorgeous photos to post as well as these other great Milwaukee vendors who helped to make the wedding day relaxing and fun for all. Church: St. Hedwig; Reception: Villa Terrace; Cake: Aggie's Cakes; DJ: Accent Events; Catering: Zilli Hospitality Group; Florist: Petals Floral Designs; Videographer: You Ought to Be in Pictures; Hair & Make-up: Studio Bella; Suits: DuBois Formalwear; Dress: Vera Wang

Jim and Lindsay

It's easy to see from the lovely pictures below provided by Photographs by Jenna Leigh that these two had their very own dream wedding. From the bride's gorgeous Monique Lhuiller gown to the reception's breathtaking setting at Discovery World - Pier Wisconsin the entire event was spectacular.  One of my favorite touches were the table numbers designed by the bride and groom that included names of their favorite music venues along with ticket stubs from the memories they made concerts they attended. It's these type of personal touches that really make a day personalized and unique. Thank you to all of the additional fabulous vendors who provided their services including: Music - Micheal Walters Orchestra,, Catering - Bartolottas, Floral - Impressions by Esther Flemming, Cake - Simma's Bakery, and transportation by DMI Limousine Service.

Rick & Kari

Another gorgeous summer day in Milwaukee allowed Rick & Kari to exchange vows outdoors at the Downtown Milwaukee Hilton's outdoor space 6th & Green. Guests later moved inside to the Crystal ballroom for cocktails and a four course feast. Sometimes, the most special moments are the unplanned ones so when Kari's maid of honor approached me about doing her toast on roller skates, I knew that friends and family were all in for an extra special treat beyond the candy filled centerpieces. Thank you to all of the wedding day vendors including the Downtown Milwaukee Hilton, Emily Johnson Photography, Sound By Design, The Flower Lady, Aggies Cakes, Majestic Limousine, BBJ Linen and Canopies Rentals.

Peter & Jessica

Everything about Peter and Jessica's wedding day was as unique as the two of them. From the wedding arch built by the bride's father to their personalized song selection that had guests on the dance floor to well past midnight, the entire evening was filled with love. A special thank you to Blue Dandelion Photography for these amazing photos.

Dustin & Julie

Thank you to Dustin, Julie and their families for allowing me the opportunity to share in what was such a special day. The bride and groom's fabulous taste is reflected in these breathtaking pictures captured by K&M Photography.
